Hamptons has accumulated a solid production base of machine tools over the past years. However, this latest addition to the machine park is undoubtedly the biggest one-off development.
A top of the range Miyano, twin spindle, twin turrets and 2 Y axis CNC turning centre was installed in late 2021 at Hamptons to further enhance our precision machining capabilities. This highly productive turning centre can machine simultaneously at the left and right spindles using the upper and lower turrets, both featuring a Y-axis function.
The dual spindles and turrets, as well as the revolving tools and the Y axis enable the complete front and back machining of products with complex shapes. This is all accomplished simply and in a short production cycle time.
